Abstract

Development research of LKPD base the guided inquiry for basic acid learning has been done and applied in class of XI Science, State Islamic Senior High School Number 2 Palembang. The validity of this LKPD was rated by six experts, they are material experts, pedagogics and design experts.The validity of the material has a score of 0.88 with a very valid category in suitability component with the competencies that exist in the LKPD, the accuracy of the material, the progress of the material, the completeness ofthe supporting material presentationand the suitability of the material with guided inquiry. The validity of pedagogics has a score of 1 with a very valid category in the component of competency suitability in the LKPD, conformity with the rules of language, the use of communicative language, foster curiosity, suitability to the syntax of guided inquiry.Design validity has a score of 0.77 with a valid category in LKPD cover component, the suitability of the alphabets used, the balance of the layout composition (title, author and logo) of the LKPD. Practicality (ease of use) LKPD is seen from the average score of the questionnaire in the stages of one to one and small group. The practical score is 0.90 with a high category. Tests of learning outcomes conducted in the field test stage. The result of test learning in the field step are with the base the averages score of is pretest 37.5 and the average score of posttest is 86.25. The result of Student learning increaseby 48.75 and the average gain test is included in the high category of 0.78. this shows that LKPD is classified as valid, practical and effective for use in Acid-base learning.
