Abstract

This article describes students? strategy on learning reflection geometry which is supported by the four activities designed based on Pendidikan Matematika Realistik Indonesia (PMRI). Design Research is chosen to achieve this research goal. HLT is tested to twenty-six students of seventh grade. The result of teaching experiment shows these activities can stimulate students to establish high reasoning strategies in the learning reflection. In reflecting object, student used grid, assisstant line and folding the symmetry line. In formal level, students read pattern of reflection to transform geometrical object. Based on this invention, it is suggested to use this HLT as learning material and guideline for progressive geometric transformation class
