Raya Palembang Prabumulih KM.32, Indralaya, Sumatera Selatan, 30662, Indonesia E-mail: Yogahprtm@gmail.com ABSTRAK PT.Bumi Merapi EnergiJobsiteMerapi barat merupakan salah satu Badan Usaha Milik Swasta (BUMS) yang bergerak di bidang pertambangan batubara yang berlokasi di Merapi, Kabupaten Lahat, Sumatera Selatan. Kegiatan penambangan di PT. Bumi Merapi EnergiJobsite Serelo menggunakan sistem penambangan strip miningyang berarti kegiatan penambangan tersebut memiliki lapisan yang relatif datar dan membentuk cekungan ke bawah yang sangat berpotensi sebagai akumulasi air yang masuk ke tambang. Sistem penyaliran tambang pada pit Serelo memiliki satusump yang berada elevasi +45 Mdpl. Apabila Hujan banyak ditemukan pada Sump Pit Serelogenangan air disekitar lantai kerja sehingga mengganggu aktivitas penambangan yang ada. Settling pond pada Pit Serelo sendiri hanya memiliki 4 kompartemen, masing-masing yaitu sediment pond, safety pond, mud pond dan stabilization pond .settling pond saat ini hanya berdimensi panjang, lebar dan tinggi sebesar 6m, 6m, dan 4m.Pada kondisi aktual volume total dari dari settling pond pit Serelo hanya sebesar 576 m³. Dengan waktu penggerukan dari kompartemen satu dan dua masing-masing 10 hari dan 3 hari. Volume settling pond aktual tidak dapat menampung air limpasan secara maksimal bahkan tidak dapat menampung rencana pemompaan selama 21 jam dan 15 jam dengan debit masing-masing sebesar 648 m³/jam dan 468 m3/jam . Akibatnya kegiatan pemompaan sering dihentikan dan aktual pemompaan hanya dilakukan 10 jam/hari dan 15 jam/hari. Hal ini mengakibatkan semakin kritisnya elevasi sumur dan aktivitas penambangan pada front disekitar sump menjadi terganggu. Setelah dilakukan analisa , didapatkan dimensi settling pond yang dapat menampung air limpasan yang dipompakan dari sump dengan pemompaan 21 jam. Dimensi settling pond yang direncanakan sebesar 60m, 25m, dan 4m berbentuk trapesium dengan volume total 29.400 m3. Dengan waktu penggerukan pada kompartemen 1 dan 2 masing-masing 23 hari dan 909 hari.Dengan volume dan desain yang direkomendasikan diharapkan kegiatan pemompaan dapat dilakukan sesuai rencana dan aktivitas penambangan pada Pit Serelo tidak terganggu. Raya Palembang Prabumulih KM.32, Indralaya, Sumatera Selatan, 30662, Indonesia E-mail: Yogahprtm@gmail.com SUMMARY PT.Bumi Merapi Energi Jobsite Serelo is one of the Private Owned Enterprises (BUMS) which is engaged in coal mininglocated in Lahat, Lahat Regency, South Sumatera. Mining activities at PT. Bumi Merapi Energi Jobsite Serelo uses anstrip minning system which means that mining activities have a flat coal seam and downward basin which has the potential to accumulate water entering the mine. The mine drainage system in the Serelo pit has one sump that is located at an elevation of +45 Mdpl. If there is a lot of rain found in the Sump Pit Serelopuddles around the working floor so that it disrupts the existing mining activities. Settling pond in the Serelo Pit itself has 4 compartments, each of which is a sediment pond, safety pond, mud pond and stabilization pond. In actual conditionsdimention of The settling pond are 6m, 6m, and 4m. the total volume of the settling of the Serelo pond pit is only 576 m³. With dredging time from one and two compartments 10 and 3 days respectively. The actual settling pond volume cannot accommodate the pumping plan for 21 hours with a debit of 648 m³ / hour. As a result pumping activities are often stopped and actual pumping is only done 10 hours / day. This resulted in increasingly critical wells and mining activities on the front around the sump to be disrupted. After analyzing, the settling pond dimension can be obtained which can accommodate runoff water pumped from the sump with 21 hours pumping. The settling pond dimension is planned to be trapezoidal with detailed 60m, 25m and 4m with a total volume of 29.400 m3. With dredging time in compartments 1 and 2, 23 days and 909 days respectively. With the recommended volume and design, pumping activities are expected to be carried out according to plan and mining activities at the Serelo Pit are not disturbed.
