Abstract

Sales function management audit is a systematic and comprehensive assessment and is conducted periodically on all aspects of sales with the aim of assessing the efficiency and effectiveness of an object of research. Audit of sales function management at PT. Sederhana Karya Musi Palembang works carried out by comparing the criteria, conditions, causes, consequences and then provide recommendations. This research is in the form of case studies using descriptive methods, by means of interviews, questionnaires, observations, and documentation. Based on the results of research, sales strategies, sales information systems, and sales, PT. Sederhana Karya Musi has been running effectively and efficiently. However, marketing organizations still have some shortcomings. Then, the authors also found that the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) of PT. Sederhana Karya Musi is still not running efficiently. For this reason, PT. Sederhana Karya Musi Palembang must continue to strive to improve the functioning of marketing organizations and the Company's Operating Standards.
