Abstract

This research of separate copper and zinc using electrodeposition method which the potential decomposition in each metals have been decided. The potential decomposition of copper is 1,5 volts while zinc is 2,5 volts. This method had the optimum condition which was in the 120th minute of electrodeposition time and the surface square was in the 10,37 cm2 which the copper weights are 11,3 and 11,5 miligrams. Then, the simulation of copper and zinc separation in mixed solution can be saperated although the concentration of both metals were not same. But, in Palembang Sukawinatan landfill leachate cannot be detected. It because the concentration of leachate was under the electrodeposition method measurement limits.
