Abstract

ABSTRAK Generator bedini mengapilkasikan magnet permanen jenis neodymium dan kumparan dengan diameter kawat 0.149 mm. penggunaan kumparan terdiri dari kumparan exciter pada sisi trigger dan kumparan induksi pada sisi output, adapun magnet permanen jenis neodymium di aplikasikan untuk menghasilkan fluks optimal pada pembangkitan GGL yang dihasilkan. Perbaikan yang dilakukan pada generator bedini dari versi sebelumnya terdiri dari penambahan charge controller serta pembatasan arus pada sisi neon bulb pulser menggunakan resistor 47 ohm, sehingga mengurangi pembuangan arus secara berlebihan. Pengujian dilakukan dengan melakukan pengamatan terhadap nilai RPM, frekuensi, serta arus dan tegangan sisi trigger dan output. Dari pengujian yang dilakukan didapatkan hasil pembacaan nilai RPM 600, arus trigger sebesar 0,763 A dan tegangan trigger sebesar 12 V. Pada sisi output dihasilkan nilai tegangan output 46,85 V dan arus sebesar 0,531 A. secara perhitungan, nilai arus trigger sebesar 0,65 A, dan pada arus output sebesar 0,57 A dengan tegangan GGL sebesar 46,85 V. Berdasarkan data ini di dapatkan nilai COP sebesar 3.53. Penggunaan charge controller dilakukan untuk melakukan manajemen proses charging pada baterai sekunder agar pengisian menjadi lebih optimal. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian ini dapat diketahui bahwa alat generator bedini yang dirancang telah berfungsi sesuai dengan tujuan perencanaan. ABSTRACT Bedini generator applied the neodymium and spindle permanent magnet with 0.149 mm diameters of wire. The wire utilization consists exciter spindle on trigger side and induction spindle on output side. As for permanent magnet type neodymium aplicated to generate optimal flux for electromotive force that produced. Improvement out of older version of bedini generator, this one have a charge controller and current restriction on neon bulb pulser side which using 47 ohm resistor that decreased exaggerated waste of stream. This research was done by observed Revolutions Per Minute (RPM) grade, frequencies, current and voltage for both trigger and output side. From the observation, the obtained results were 600 RPM value, 0.763A trigger current and trigger voltage 12V. On output side there is 46.85V voltage and 0.531A current generated. On a calculation basis, 0.65A for current trigger value and 0.57A for current output with 46.85V electromotive force voltage. Based on the data, performance coefficient score is 3.53. The application of charge controller was to managed the charging process to the secondary battery. So it can be considered bedini generator that had been designed is functioning according to planning objectives.
