Abstract

This study aims to prove (1) there is an influence of interest in students’ learning outcomes, (2) there is an influence of learning resources on students’ learning outcomes, (3) there is an influence of interest and learning resources together with students learning outcomes in economics at High School of Sriaya Negara Palembang. This research method is ex post facto research. Research subjects numbered 56 people. Data collection techniques use questionnaires, observation, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is the questionnaire and observation data analysis technique. Hypothesis testing uses simple regression analysis with the t test and multiple regression analysis with the f test. With conclusions (1) there is an influence of interest in learning outcomes with a t test of tcount>ttable (8.728>1.674) which means H0 is rejected and Ha is received with a contribution of 58.5%. (2) there is an influence of learning resources on learning outcomes with t test of tcount>ttable (7.473>1.674) which means that H0 is rejected and Ha is received with a contribution of 50.8%. (3) there is an influence of interest and learning resources together on students’ learning outcomes with the f test of Fcount>Ftable (32.7> 3.1) which means H0 is rejected and Ha is received with a contribution of 42.9%, then it is recommended to further improve the quality and capacity of learning resources used in the learning process so that it can arouse students’ interest in fostering their liking and interest in learning.
