Abstract

This study aimed at analyzing the mispricing of conditions where stock prices experience overpricing and underpricing when a company conducts an IPO (Initial Public Overing). Technical factors regarding mispricing, namely stock trading volume (VP), share trading frequency (FP) and market sentiment (SP). The population of this research was the IPO company (Initial Public Overing) listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2018. The number of samples used was 56 IPO companies in 2018. The method used in this research was multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this research indicated that trading volume (VP) and market sentiment (SP) had a positive and significant influence on the level of share mispricing. While the frequency of stock trading (FP) had a negative and insignificant effect on stock mispricing on IPO companies in 2018.
