Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Regional Expenditure Budgets and Foreign Investment on Poverty in South Sumatra. The secondary data used by regression analysis methods with the variables of the number of poor people, regional expenditure budgets, and investment in time-series data from 2004 to 2018. The result of the study indicates that if increasing the Regional Expenditure will be able to reduce Poverty in South Sumatra. While a Foreign Investment on Poverty in South Sumatra is insignificant but influences Poverty in South Sumatra
