Abstract

The objectives of this study are: (1) to describe the level of participation of members of the Trans Mekar Sari Mandiri BMT Cooperative in conducting cooperative activities, (2) to describe the level of KUBE performance in Tanjung Lago District in conducting cooperative activities, (3) to analyze the relationship of member participation with the performance of the Trans Mekar Sari Mandiri BMT Cooperative in Tanjung Lago Banyuasin District, (4) to analyze the relationship between KUBE performance and the performance of the Trans Mekar Sari Mandiri BMT Cooperative in Tanjung Lago Subdistrict, Banyuasin District. This research was conducted at the Trans Mekar Sari Mandiri BMT Cooperative in Tanjung Lago Subdistrict, Banyuasin Regency in September 2019. The research method used in this study was a survey. Data collection methods used are primary data and secondary data. Based on the analysis, the participation of members of the Trans Mekar Sari Mandiri BMT Cooperative by using 5 indicators obtained an average score of 32.98 which was included in the medium criteria. While the results of KUBE performance analysis in the Trans Mekar Sari Mandiri BMT Cooperative based on 5 indicators obtained an average score of 40.21 which is included in the high criteria. The relationship of member participation with the performance of the Trans Mekar Sari Mandiri BMT Cooperative has a weak relationship strength with a correlation coefficient = 0.170 and there is no significant relationship at α = 0.05 and is unidirectional between member participation and cooperative performance. The relationship between KUBE performance and the performance of the Trans Mekar Sari Mandiri BMT Cooperative has a very strong relationship strength with a correlation coefficient of 0.831 and there is a significant relationship at α = 0.05 and is unidirectional between KUBE performance and cooperative performance.
