Abstract

This reseach is a descriptive reseach aimed to know the conception of math teacher of school about mathematics model in Palembang city. The subject of this researchi involves math teacher from SMP Negeri 1 Palembang, SMP Negeri 9 Palembang, SMP egeri 10 Palembang, SMP Neger 13 Palembang, SMP 17 Palembang, SMP Negeri 18 Palembang, SMP Srijaya Negara, SMA Negeri 1 Palembang, SMA Srijaya State, SMA Negeri 11 Palembang, SMA Negeri 10 Palembang, SMA Negeri 2 Palembang, and SMA Negeri 6 Palembang with the humber of respondents 110 people. Data completion technique in this research is written the questionnaire. Analysis of questionmaire data on Likert Scale Questionnaire. Based on the results of the results of the analysis of the questionnaire data shown from the statements 1, 2 statements, 3 statements, 5 percent, and 6 statements from each group of work experience (<5 years, 5-10 years and <10 years. So it can be concluded the conception of mathematics teacher about the mathematical model, the teacher can know and eliminate which examples of mathematical model and teacher cannot be bontrolled and non in the form of mathematics are interconnected in mathematical model of the piysical mode of the world real.
