Abstract

In the digital era, the management of electronic archives became popular in the management of many institutions. Electronic archives are considered to be more suited to the needs of the times demanding the convenience of storing, managing and minimizing damage to the archives. Managing archives digitally affects the development of notary practice in Indonesia known as Cyber notary. In carrying out his duties, one notary obligation is to store and maintain a notary protocol. The purpose of writing for analyzing legal arrangements, forms and legal responsibility of the storage of notary protocols. The problems examined in this paper are how to document the legal arrangement of documents (notary protocol) based on legislation in Indonesia, how to form the storage of notarized protocols electronically in cyber concept Notary, how is the responsibility of notary public in storing notary protocol. This research uses normative legal research methods with a regulatory and conceptual approach. The results of this research show that the legal arrangement of document Storage (Notary protocol) is governed in the law of the notary department, the Elecronic trankwitness information, and the archives for the maintenance of notary protocol storage Electronic current only as an attempt to secure the data cannot be a legitimate proof tool; form of storage protocol Notary in cyber notary concept is through the process of media transfer from a printed document to a digital form, after the electronic archive is stored in the electronic archive storage system; While the legal responsibility of the notary public in storing the notary protocol that resulted in loss or damage to the notary protocol that is in charge of civil or criminal. It is hoped that the Government makes a rule of law that expressly governs matters relating to the use of technology in particular regarding the electronic storage of notarized protocols that can support the storage of notarized protocols electronically Have the power of the perfect proof of law.
