Abstract

Eyes are one of the most important organs in the human body, which is often experienced with interference. This eye disorder usually occurs due to damage to the blood vessel function in the retina layer, which is not diagnosed early will result in blindness. Therefore, a system is needed to diagnose the disorder. One of them is by automatically segmentation the retina blood vessels. In this research, using the 2D method of Median Filter and combination of 2D Median Filter and Fuzzy C Means (FCM) on the DRIVE data set with 20 test images. On the Median Filter 2D method get the results MSE 5.82, RMSE 2.39, and PSNR 40.62 dB with a sensitivity yield of 75.48%, specificity 97.77%, and accuracy reached 95.62%. For the combination method of 2D Median Filter and Fuzzy C Means (FCM) Get results MSE 4.26, RMSE 2.04, and PSNR 42.01 dB with a sensitivity yield of 83.25%, specificity 96.12%, and accuracy reached 94.68%.
