Abstract

Pit North Muara Tiga Besar (MTBU) PT. Bukit Asam, Tbk. in September-November 2018 it is targeted for coal production with an average of 566,667 tons / month. The higher the production target and productivity it will be directly proportional to the technology and tools to be used, and requires good care, inspection and maintenance so that the tool can still be productive and effective at work, besides that it also requires relevant costs so that production remains well controlled. The purpose of this study is to analyze the productivity of excavators and dump trucks and the needs of tools, analyze the factors that affect work efficiency, and analyze the costs needed for extracting and transporting coal. Thevresearch method usedvinvthis research activityvisvcombiningvtheoryvand actual datavinvthevfield regarding research, sovthatvanalysis andvsolutionsvtovproblemvsolvingvwillvbevobtained. Thevresultsvofvthevstudy are based on the calculation of the actual productivity of the excavating equipment for the Komatsu PC 400 excavator backhoe and the Hino 500 FM 320 TI dump truck transporting productivity of 324.11 tons / hour and 69.14 tons / hour respectively. Equipment requirements based on production targets and productivity of excavator tools require 3 units and 14 dump trucks. The factors that influence work efficiency are work discipline factors, treatment barriers, weather resistance factors. The cost of extracting coal is Rp. 3,367.8 / ton, the cost of transporting coal is Rp. 9.4599.99 / ton, and coal getting costs based on tool requirements of Rp. 12,827.67 /
