Abstract

This study aims to find out the role of the SKK Migas Public Relations Perwakilan South Sumatera in the land acquisition work program. This study uses qualitative research methods using descriptive methods. Based on the results of the analysis of researchers that have been obtained in the field, it can be concluded that the results found with the theory of the Role of Public Relations by Cutlip, Center, Broom with 4 elements, namely, communication technicians, expert prescriber, communication facilitators, and problem solving facilitators, and there is the role of public relations SKK Migas Perwakilan South Sumatera in PT Medco E&P Palembang land acquisition program. This is proven by SKK Migas Public Relations Perwakilan South Sumatera who always contribute to the land acquisition activities of PT Medco E&P Palembang. And the Public Relations SKK Migas Perwakilan South Sumatera played a role in assisting Medco in resolving ongoing land acquisition activities.
