Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of physical work environment on employees performance at PT Remco Palembang. The population numbered 148 people, for sampling techniques using probability sampling with the type of simple random sampling and the determination of the sample using slovin formula therefore the sampling of this research are about 60 respondents. The method used in this study is primary data obtained by distributing questionnaires. The analysis technique that be used is simple linear regression analysis.The result of this study indicate that the physical work environment had significant effect on employees performance at PT. Remco Palembang. For companies it is recommended to improve the conditions of the physical work environment that is around the workplace such as lighting, temperature and air circulation in order to improve employees performance.
