Abstract

Clean water has criteria and quality, the PDAM is a company that processes unsuitable water into clean water that is suitable for consumption. The PDAM has a plant Water Treatment as a place to manage clean water. One procedure at the plant is conventional water level control. But there is still an error rate in conventional level control so it needs to control on the error level to be so is more efficient. The application of fuzzy logic is used to reduce the error rate. Fuzzy logic is used for the output control of PWM motor values at the plant and has input distance readings from the SHARP GP2Y0A21 IR sensor. The PWM value is determined by fuzzy rules based on error values and different errors resulting from distance readings by sensors. From the results, at the 6 cm and water level error value 14, the resulting PWM value of 221 PWM values enter the set quickly and very quickly. The PWM value will drop to an error value of 0, resulting in a PWM value of 190 entering the medium set. The use of fuzzy logic on the plant is part of the right level to control the pump according to the level of error produced.
