Abstract

The objective of this research is to determine whether Dipenda Kabupaten OKI has economically, efficiently, and effectively worked. Research finding has shown that the overall performance of Dipenda Kabupaten OKI is good enough. Dipenda Kabupaten OKI has been able to use its resources such as employees, inventories, and budget economically and efficiently. It also has been able to do many of its activities and programmes effectively. Not only that, Dipenda Kabupaten OKI has successfully achieved its goal that is to reach its PAD. Unfortunately, there are still some disadvantages which have to be recovered in order to increase the performance of its employee especially and overall performance of Dipenda Kabupaten OKI generally. Those disadvantages are lack of discipline of its employee and lack of facilities and office equipment which are owned by Dipenda OKI. Besides that, there are some implementation of District Distribution~which fail in achieving the goal because of lack of effectiveness and efficiency. This also happened since controlling, evaluation, and monitoring on activities of collecting District Distribution done by other departments are not done well. In order to improve the performance and achieve value for money (economy, efficiency, effectiveness), writer suggests Dipenda Kabupaten OKI to implement punishment to its employee that is not discipline, implement a reward program to motivate employee which can be done not only to encourage them to be more discipline but also to increase the guality of their performance, give more complete facilities of the office, enlarge: office building, and also implement controlling, evaluation, and monitoring to activities of collecting District Distribution which is done by another departments and cooperate which other related department to recover systems or ways of activities of collecting District Distribution in order to achieve the effectiveness of District Distribution.
