Abstract

The difference in bucket dimensions on each excavator has an effect on the ability to digging and loading blasting material and the dominance of fragmentation size blasting results that hinder the performance of excavators when digging the material to be loaded. The purpose of this study was to analyze the blasting process and distribution of fragmentation results of lime stone blasting and also the effect of the fragmentation distribution and factors that affectinng on the performance of the Backhoe Excavator KOMATSU PC300-8 bucket 2,21m3, the Backhoe Excavator KOMATSU PC400LC-8 bucket 3,20m3 and Backhoe Excavators KOMATSU PC750-7 bucket 5,10m3 at PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. The powder factor values in the blasting process of each block loading material from three types of excavators were 0,20 Kg/ton, 0,19 Kg/ton and 0,20 Kg/ton with the distribution of fragmentation resulting in a percent passing > 50cm by 0,00%, 0,18% and 2,55%. Based on the calculation, it is known that the productivity of the KOMATSU PC300-8 Excavator is 290.36 m3/hour, KOMATSU PC400LC-8 Excavator is 317,81 m3/hour, KOMATSU PC750-7 Excavator is 472.17 m3/hour.
