Abstract

Motor combustion is a mechanism process that converts thermal energy into mechanical energy. This engine utilizes the working fluid / hot gas produced directly by combustion to produce business. Gasoline motor is a type of internal combustion engine that can convert heat energy from fuel into mechanical energy in the form of shaft power at the crankshaft rotation. From the test results obtained a maximum power of 3.81 kW in the third fuel variation, namely pertalite 25% and pertamax 75% with an engine speed of 6000 rpm, then the lowest power of 3.67 kW in the first fuel variation that is 75% premium and pertalite 25% with an engine speed of 6000 rpm. While the lowest torque of 5.84 Nm in the first fuel variation is between 75% premium and pertalite with an engine speed of 6000 rpm. Calculations from the test results of specific fuel consumption, where at 6000 rpm engine speed the fuel which has the largest specific fuel consumption value is 0.6049 on the first fuel variation. Calculations from the results of the four test results obtained a maximum overall efficiency value of 17.34% in the third fuel variation with 6000 rpm engine speed. And the lowest overall efficiency value of 13.31% in the variation of the first fuel with 6000 rpm engine speed. From the conclusions above we can find out that the mixture between 75% pertx and 25% pertalite has good performance, while the lowest is a mixture of 75% premium and 25% pertalite.
