Abstract

This study titled "Comparalive Study on Pe1formance of Local Government Finance Ogan Jlir regency and district Banyuasin" which aims to compare the financial performance of Jhe two districl.<; using the size ratio. The two districts are a new district stands alone with forming the new government. The purpose of Jhis sludy was Jo arsess the pe,formance of OJ and Banyuasin regency in the year 2006 to 2009. Assess the comparative performance of OJ and Banyuasin regency in the year 2006 lo 2009. Identifying factors cause differences in the performance of regional governments Of and Banyuasin. The results of this study indicate that the ratio of financial independence OJ and Banyuasin County Government can't be said to be good, because the funds to meet the needs of government duties, not reaching provisions, amounting to 50%. Each of the average ratio of self-reliance and the District Government of OJ has a ratio independence Banyuasin 2:59%: 2:53% per year. Effectiveness ratio OJ district is good which is 75.88% are close lo 100%, District Banyuasin effectiveness ratio is not realistic, with ratio of 118,4%. Efficiancy ratio OI and district Banyuasin respectively 27.6%: 27.5%. Most of the funds are owned OJ and Bmryuasin District is used for routine, where the average routine expenditure for each district that is 61.46%, 64.75%. OI and Banyuasin government has not been able to balance between routine and development expenditures. Potentially, if there is a shortage of funds OI and Banyuasin County Government has an opportunity to make loans. DSCR numbers of each district Of and Banyuasin is 2.47: 9. 70. This means the average DSCR both exceed the minimum requirement is 2.5. District Budgets OJ growth showed negative growth, while growth in the component budget original revenue of Banyuasin and the total revenue ve,y volatile, and the percentage growth in routine expenditure and development expenditure is always decreasing.
