Abstract

The study entitled the effect of plyometric medicine ball throw exercises on the results of three point shoots on basketball extracurricular activities at SMA Negeri 2 Tanjung Raja aims to determine the effect of plyometric medicine ball throw exercises on three point shoot results using experimental research methods with the One Group Pretest design- Posttest, the population of all basketball extracurricular participants at SMA Negeri 2 Tanjung Raja with a sample of the entire population of 30 students. The initial test results obtained the highest value is 5 and the lowest value is 0, while the highest posttest result data is 7 and the lowest value is 2. From the ptetest and posttest results obtained an average difference of 1.97. The data analysis technique used is the statistical "t test" with a significant level (α = 0.05). Based on the results of the analysis of the data used tcount = 0.50 and ttable = 1.70. Thus the hypothesis in this study was accepted. Ha said that there was an effect of plyometric medicine ball throw training on the results of a three-point shoot in basketball extracurricular activities at SMA Negeri 2 Tanjung Raja. Penelitian yang berjudul pengaruh latihan plyometric medicine ball throw terhadap hasil three point shoot pada kegiatan ekstrakurikuler bola basket di SMA Negeri 2 Tanjung Raja bertujuan untuk mengetahui besarnya pengaruh latihan plyometric medicine ball throw terhadap hasil three point shoot menggunakan metode penelitian eksperimen dengan desain One Group Pretest-Posttest, populasi seluruh peserta ekstrakurikuler bola basket SMA Negeri 2 Tanjung Raja dengan sampel seluruh populasi yaitu 30 siswa. Hasil penelitian tes awal didapat nilai tertinggi adalah 5 dan nilai terendah 0, sedangkan data hasil posttest nilai tertinggi adalah 7 dan nilai terendah 2. Dari hasil ptetest dan posttest didapat perbedaan rata-rata sebesar 1,97. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah statistik “uji t” dengan taraf signifikan (α= 0,05). Berdasarkan hasil analisis data yang digunakan didapat thitung = 0,50 dan ttabel = 1,70. Dengan demikian hipotesis dalam penelitian ini diterima. Ha mengatakan Terdapat pengaruh latihan plyometric medicine ball throw terhadap hasil three point shoot pada kegiatan ekstrakurikuler bola basket di SMA Negeri 2 Tanjung Raja.
