Abstract

This study aims to determine self-confidence in terms of learning styles in the Guidance Counseling class of 2019 Sriwijaya University students. This research uses quantitative descriptive methods. Data were collected using a psychological scale of confidence in the Likert scale model. The total number of samples taken from a total population of 81 people. The results of the data analysis showed that the confidence of the 2019 Guidance Counseling students in Sriwijaya University was in the medium category. Judging from the learning styles it was found that students with a dominant visual learning style in the aspect of being confident in their ability and responsibility were 83%, students with an auditory learning style were dominated in the responsible aspect with a percentage of 76.1%, students with a kinesthetic learning style were more dominant in rational aspects with a percentage of 77%, students with dominant kinesthetic auditory learning styles on the responsible aspects with a percentage of 83.3%, and groups of students with visual kinesthetic learning styles are dominated by optimistic, objective and responsible aspects with a percentage of 75%.
