Abstract

This research aims to improve students learning outcomes in The Theme of heat and displacement in 5th grade student of SD Negeri 163 Palembang . Using Audiovisual Media. This research uses the method of classroom action with three cycles of action. Data collection techniques that is used is test and observation. Action class research has four stages namely Planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Subject in the research is 5th grade student of SD Negeri 163 Palembang with a total of 32 students consisting of 22 females students and 10 male students . The results of this study indicate that the completeness of student learning outcomes in the first cycle by completeness by 62.50%, in the second cycle of student learning completeness by 75%, and in the third cycle the completeness of student learning outcomes increased to 87.50%. From the observations, the activeness of students has increased, in the first cycle the activeness of students in the active category, in the second cycle the activeness of students in the active category, and in the third cycle the activeness of students in the very active category. So it can be concluded that using Audiovisual can improve student learning outcomes in the Theme of heat and displacement in grade 5 students at SD Negeri 163 Palembang.
