Abstract

This study entitled "Accountability of Budget Use in Personnel Affairs at the Immigration Office Class I TPI (Immigration Checkpoint) Palembang in 2018". This study aims to find out how to account for the use of budgets in staffing affairs at the Immigration Class Office of TPI Palembang in 2018. The research method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative method. Sources of data obtained from primary data and secondary data, data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. This research uses the theory of financial accountability from Mustopadidjaja based on three dimensions to measure financial accountability, namely financial integrity, disclosure, and observance of laws and regulations. The results of this study indicate that the Accountability of Budget Use in Personnel Affairs at the Immigration Office of Class I Palembang in 2018 is quite accountable, but not optimal because the disclosure of information about finances to the public is not available so that the disclosure dimension is not good. The advice recommended in this study is that it should provide financial information to the public that is presented on the website of the Palembang Class I Immigration Office.
