Abstract

Logam mulia emas merupakan salah satu alat investasi yang nilainya terus mengalami kenaikan dari tahun ke tahun, harga emas bersifat fluktuatif yaitu selalu berubah-ubah setiap hari. Salah satu metode yang dapat digunakan untuk melakukan peramalan adalah model Fuzzy Time Series. Fuzzy Time Series Cheng berbeda dari metode fuzzy lainnya dikarenakan terdapat bobot matriks dan peramalan adaptif, namun algoritma Fuzzy Time Series memiliki kelemahan yaitu pada himpunan nilai interval yang terlalu jauh sehingga menyebabkan peramalan yang dilakukan kurang optimal. Oleh karena itulah metode Fuzzy Time Series Cheng dioptimasi dengan Algoritma Genetika pada intervalnya, optimasi dilakukan pada interval metode Fuzzy Time SeriesChengdengan tujuan mendapatkan hasil error rate berupa Mean Square Erroryang lebih rendah. Hasil yang didapat pada optimasi metode Fuzzy Time Series Cheng dengan menggunakan Algoritma Genetika menghasilkan nilai error (MSE) sebesar 13911670.210901 lebih rendah dibanding hanya menggunakan metode Fuzzy Time Series Cheng saja yaitu sebesar 22155973.780397.
