Abstract

This study was conducted to determine growth of Acacia (Acacia mangium Willd.) in nurseries with application of nutrients N, P and K and determine the appropriate dose of NPK composition during acacia nursery. The study was conducted at station research of PT Pupuk Sriwijaya Palembang. This study used randomized block design. The design was randomized block 8 treatments and 4 replications. The treatment consisted of 3 fertilizer compositions was NPK 20-20-6, NPK 6-23-10, NPK 15-15-15, and control (without NPK). The doses of NPK 20-20-6 and NPK 6-23-10 was 5, 10 and 15 g / plant and NPK 15-15-15 with 10 g / plant as standard. The results showed NPK 6-23-10 with a dose of 5 g / plant has a higher performance for high-seed, diameter-seed, leaves-seed, wet and dry weight of seed than others doses. The recommendation of an acacia nursery is NPK 6-23-10 dose of 5 g / plant. Keywords: Compound NPK, nutrition, acacia, seedlings.
