Abstract

The purpose of this study are : (1) Identifying the role of Agricultural and Rural Training Center (ARTC) Work Of Farmer in the development of rubber farming in Tanjung Batu Village. (2) Identifying the level of participation and the level of behavior of farmers who have attended training at the Agricultural and Rural Training Center (ARTC) Work Of Farmer in Tanjung Batu Village. (3) Analyzing the income of rubber farmers who have attended training at the Agricultural Training Center (ARTC) Work Of Farmer in Tanjung Batu Village. (4) Analyzing the relationship between the role of the independent Agricultural and Rural Training Center (ARTC) Work Of Farmer with the behavior of farmers in the development of rubber farming in Tanjung Batu Village. The method used in this research is survey method. Determination of the sample of this study using a simple random sampling and the number of samples obtained was 44 farmers. The results of this study are (1) ARTC Work Of Farmer has been able to carry out its role well, namely as an educator, as a source of information and experience, and as a source of social formation, the total calculation is at high criteria with a total score of 25.64. (2) Farmer participation during training in ARTC Work Of Farmer is at a high criterion with a total score of 24.84. (3) The behavior of farmers who have participated in training in ARTC Work Of Farmer is at a high criterion with a total score of 75.5. (3) The behavior of farmers who have participated in training in ARTC Work Of Farmer is at a high criterion with a total score of 75.5. (4) The average income of farmers who have participated in training at ARTC Work Of Farmer in Tanjung Batu village is Rp11,014,879 per arable area per year or Rp10,825,747 per hectare per year. (5) there is a positive relationship between the role of ARTC Work Of Farmer on the behavior of farmers in developing rubber farming in Tanjung Batu Village, Ogan Ilir Regency. (6) there is a positive relationship between the behavior of farmers in developing rubber farming with the income of farmers who have participated in training at ARTC Work Of Farmer in Tanjung Batu Sub-District, Ogan Ilir Regency.
