Abstract

The development of science literacy test items based on the PISA Program for International Student Assessment framework is the aim of research to produce valid and practical PISA framework based science literacy question. The research has been conducted in X Science 1 and X Science 2 classrooms of SMAN 1 Pelembang. This development was adopting the Djaali and Mulyono 2008 model. The development steps consisted of several stages, which were the analysis of needs, the construction of variables and the objectives of learning, making the outline of test items, writing of the instruments and scoring, theoretical validation and revision, and empirical validation, and data analysis. There were three stages in analyzing the data which were validity test, reliability test, and items analysis. Items analysis is done by analyzing the distinguishing power, degree of difficulty, and the function of the distractor. The results showed that the content validity was 3.71 as a very valid category, construction was 3.25 as a valid category, PISA was 3.1 as a valid category, and language was 3.4 as a ver valid category. Therefore, the product has a validity of 3.37 as a very valid category. The practicality score at the empirical validation stage try out was 4.25 as the practical category. Therefore, the product of literacy test items based on the PISA framework produced was categorized as valid and practical so that it can be applied in learning.
