Abstract

Sriwijaya University has a vision and mission to be a world class university, which is respected and based on superior research in the arts, technology and various fields of science. To be able to achieve this vision requires measuring the level ofgovernance and managementIT capabilities at Sriwijaya University. The UPT TIK, which serves as the Technical Information and Communication Technology Implementation Unit at Sriwijaya University, needs to measure the ability level for the evaluation and implementation of governance and managementIT so that the suitability of IT performance and business strategies of the University can be achieved. COBIT (Control Objective for Information and related Technology) 5 is a framework used to measuregovernance and management IT at UPT TIK Sriwijaya University. Measurements were made with reference to the Evaluate, Direct & Monitor (EDM) and Monitor, Evaluate & Assess (MEA) domains. The results obtained from the measurement are the level of IT governance and management skills at UPT TIK Sriwijaya University on average at level 1 and level 3.
