Abstract

PT. Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk adalah perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang produksi semen. Untuk memperoleh bahan baku yaitu batu gamping, diperlukan proses penambangan menggunakan sistem drill & blast . Agar proses penambangan berjalan sesuai dengan target produksi diperlukan sistem mine dewatering yang baik. Mine dewatering di PT Semen Baturaja menggunakan sump dan pompa. Saat ini sump yang tersedia tidak cukup menampung jumlah air yang masuk. Diketahui luas cathment area sebesar 934.840,262 m2 dan intensitas hujan 5,83 mm/jam, maka debit air limpasan sebesar 21.827,726 m³/hari. Diketahui debit air tanah yaitu 732,8 m³/hari dan debi evapotranspirasi sebesar 122,541 m³/hari maka debit total air yang masuk ke penambangan sebesar 22.437,952 m3/hari. Saat ini sump berukuran 16.687 m³, sehingga perlu dilakukan pelebaran. Sump direncanakan berbentuk trapesium dengan volume 80.209,8 m³. Volume ini dirancang dengan asumsi bahwa sump mampu menampung debit air masuk dalam waktu 3 hari tanpa pemompaan. Rekomendasi dimensi sump memiliki panjang atas (a) : 203,67 m, panjang bawah (c) : 198,54 m, lebar atas (b) : 70,574 m, lebar bawah (d) : 62,336 m, tinggi sump (Z) : 6 m, dan kemiringan 60º. Rencana pemompaan dilakukan selama 20 jam/hari menggunakan 3 buah pompa dengan kapasitas pemompaan sebesar 16.268 m³/jam.
