Abstract

This study aims to obtain information about the influence of Learning Cycle 7 E model to the critical thinking skills of learners on the circulatory system material grade XI SHS 1 North Indralaya . The research method used is Quasi Experimental with Noquivalent Control Group Design research design. Determination of the research sample is class XI IPA 1 as an experimental class and class XI IPA 2 as a control class using Purposive Sampling .The method of data collection is done by tests in the form of 30 multiple choice questions and student question naire responses. Critical thinking skills in this study include several indicators, elementary clarification, basic support, inference, advanced clarification, strategy and tactics. The results of data analysis the average final test of the experimental class was 79.88 (good) and the control class was 70.66 (good). Indicator strategy and tactic obtain the highest performance based on the results of normalization of gain while the lowest indicator is basic support in the experimental class. The percentage of observations of the feasibility of learning with the learning cycle 7E model was 85.25 % (very good). Questionnaire responses of students to learning with the learning cycle 7E model was 83 % of student responded very good and 17 % responded good. Based on the statistical test using SPSS22 implementation of Learning cycle 7E model has a significant effect on students' critical thinking skills the material of circulatory system of class XI of SMA Negeri 1 North Indralaya.
