Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the form of slang based on a review of the process of abreviation, language symptoms, and changes in meaning in the Atta Halilintar vlog on Youtube. The problem in this research is how the form of slang is based on a review of the process of abreviation, language phenomena, and changes in meaning in the Atta Halilintar vlog on Youtobe. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research method.Data collection techniques used record, listen, and note techniques. Data analysis techniques transcribe, identify, classify, analyze, and conclude. The data source was taken from the Atta Halilintar vlog on Youtube for a period of two months, namely January and February 2019 consisting of 58 videos. The results of this study indicate that there are many slang languages used by the Atta Halilintar vlog on Youtube based on an analysis of the abreviation process, including: (1) Acronyms and (2) abbreviations. Then, based on language symptoms, among others: (1) affresis, (2) apocopes (3) protesis, (4) pararogs, (5) syncope, and (6) contractions. Furthermore, changes in meaning that emerged in Atta Halilintar's vlog research on Youtube included: (1) total and (2) marketing. Atta Halilintar Vlog Slang Language Research on Youtube can be implicated in Indonesian language learning High school anecdotal text learning class X on KD 3.5 based on "Evaluating anecdotal texts from aspects of implied meaning" (Kemendikbud, 2017).
