Abstract

The physical module in materials work and energy based on science, technology, techniques, and mathematics (STEM) stem for class x high school has successfully developed valid and practical. The development of this module is carried out using the stages of the product-oriented development model by Rowntree with the evaluation phase used is the Tessmer formative evaluation stage. Data collection techniques used in this module development research are walkthroughs and questionnaires. The validity criteria of this module are assessed by three experts who are experts in content, design experts and linguists. Based on the results of the expert review by the validators on module, it was found that the average validity value of the content was 4.02 with very valid criteria. The average validity value of the design is obtained at 4.26 and the average validity value of language is 4.12 with very valid criteria The practicality criteria of this module are assessed from the average score of the questionnaire sheets of student responses in the stages of one-to-one evaluation and small group evaluation. Based on the results of the one-to-one evaluation stage, the average score of the questionnaire was 82% with the practical category. Small group evaluation results obtained an average value of 87% with a very practical category. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the physics module in the material work and energy that had been developed was included in the criteria very valid and practical.
