Abstract

The purpose of this study are 1) Identifying rubber price fluctuations in Talang Kemang Village, 2) Analyzing the income of rubber farmers when there is an increase in rubber prices and decline rubber prices in Talang Kemang Village and 3) Analyzing the effect of income towards household consumption expenditure of rubber farmers when there is a decline rubber prices in the village of Talang Kemang. This research was carried out in Talang Village Kemang with deliberate location selection. Data collection starts December 2019. The research method used was a survey method the sampling method is a simple random method. Based on the results of the study showed that in Talang Village Kemang starts from December 2018 until November 2019 fluctuations in rubber prices with the lowest price occurr ed in December 2018 with a price of Rp8,.546 / kg and the highest rubber price in May 2019 with a price of Rp10.246, - / kg. Farmers' income when there is an increase and the decline in rubber prices is also a real difference where current income the price increase is greater than when the price decreased by a difference of Rp101.699. The income earned by farmers when a decline in rubber prices also significantly affected the household consumption expenditure of rubber farmers with food consumption expenditure of 59% and non-food consumption by 41%.
