Abstract

The purposes of this research are 1) to measure the Processing and Marketing Unit of rubber material’s performance, 2) to identify the different between Processing and Marketing Unit of rubber material member farmer’s income and non-Processing and Marketing Unit of rubber material member farmer’s income, 3) to analyze the correlation between Processing and Marketing Unit of rubber material’s performance quality and their member rubber farmer’s income in Rejodadi village. The research was conducted in Rejodadi village, Sembawa sub-district, Banyuasin regency, South Sumatera. The selection of research location was done on purpose. Primary data collection used in this research was carried out from December 2018 to November 2019. The method used in this research is the survey method. The sample taking of this research was done by using proportionated stratified random sampling technique. The results show that the Processing and Marketing Unit rubber material’s performance quality is on average level. This result was taken based on its two components scores, which are technical activities and business development activities, where after the scoring method had conducted, the technical activities got 8,3 score points, which means average, while the business development activities got 5,95 score points, which means below average. Based on income calculation result, there is different between Processing and Marketing Unit rubber material member farmer’s income and non-Processing and Marketing Unit rubber material member farmer’s income, with Rp 38.593.648 in its income gap. the t test also show that there is significant different between them. Rank Sperman correlation test result shows that there is no significant correlation between Jaya Berkah Kencana PMU rubber material’s performance and their member farmer’s income. This happens because the Jaya Berkah Kencana Processing and Marketing Unit rubber material’s performance quality is classified as average, so that there is no effect from it on their rubber farmer’s income.
