Abstract

This study is a study that aims to determine the effect of classical guidance using short film media on conformity behavior in VIII grade students at Indralaya Selatan State Junior High School 1. This study uses an experimental method with a quantitative approach using the design of One Group Pre-test Post-test Design. The population in this study were students of class VIII amounting to 107 students, and the sample used was class VIII.1 amounting to 28 students. Sampling using Purposive Sampling technique. In general, the results of the study indicate that the implementation of classical guidance in the class is quite effective to be carried out to determine changes in conformity behavior. Specifically, the results of the study indicate that there are changes that occur in the conformity behavior. This data was taken using a psychological scale instrument and then analyzed using the t test (t test). Where (tcount 4.01> ttable 2.052). Thus it can be concluded that Classical Guidance using short film media is effective in changing conformity behavior in students.
