Abstract

Pengembangan Soal Matematika Berbasis Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan instrumen soal HOTS pada Muatan Matematika di Kelas IV yang valid dan reliabel. Penelitian ini menggunakan me-tode Research and Development. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas IV.C SD Negeri 05 Indralaya yang berjumlah 22 orang. Penelitian ini meng-gunakan model Borg and Gall yang terdiri dari 10 tahapan yang meliputi (a) Pengumpulan Informasi (information collecting), (b) Perencanaan (planning), (c) Pengembangan Produk Awal (develop preliminary form of product), (d) Uji Lapa-ngan Awal (preliminary field testing), (e) Revisi Produk Utama (main product re-vision), (f) Uji Lapangan Utama (main field testing), (g) Revisi Produk Operasi-onal (operational product revision), (h) Uji Lapangan Operasional (operational fi-eld testing), (i) Revisi Produk Final (final product revision), dan (j) Desimilasi dan Implementasi (dissemination and implementation). Teknik pengumpulan da-tanya menggunakan lembar validasi ahli, angket dan tes. Dari hasil validasi ahli diperoleh persentase rata-rata hasil penilaian sebesar 96,47 % (kategori valid). Pada tahap uji coba lapangan operasional diperoleh reliabilitas butir soal sebesar 0,9596 (kategori reliabel). Dengan demikian, berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa instrumen soal HOTS dapat dikatakan valid dan reliabel, sehingga dapat digunakan sebagai bahan ajar tambahan bagi peserta didik di Kelas IV SD.
