Abstract

The aim of the study is to evaluate the growth suppression of Ganoderma boninense in-vitro. This research was carried out at the Nematology Laboratory and Green House of Department of Pests and Plant Diseases, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University, Indralaya; PT. Sampoerna Agro Laboratory. The research method is to grow Ganoderma on Selective Agar (GSM) and Trichoderma on Potato Dextrose Agar. The parameters observed were the diameter of the Ganoderma miselium growth and inhibition testing by Trichoderma. The results showed that the growth rate of ganoderma isolates on GSM medium ranged from 11.4 mm to 83.5 mm. Trichoderma is able to inhibit the growth of Ganoderma.
