Abstract

Pabrik 1,4-Cyclohexanedimethanol (CHDM) direncanakan berlokasi di daerah Cilegon, Provinsi Banten. Pabrik ini meliputi area seluas 5,1918 Ha dengan kapasitas 14.400 ton per tahun. Proses pembuatan 1,4-Cyclohexanedimethanol ini mengacu pada US Patent No. 2019/00662251 A1. Reaksi berlangsung di dalam Trickle Bed Reactor pada suhu 180oC dan tekanan 10 MPa dengan katalis Pd/C di Reaktor-01 dan pada suhu 230oC dan tekanan 8 MPA dengan katalis Ru Sn/C pada Reaktor-02 Pabrik ini merupakan perusahaan yang berbentuk Perseroan Terbatas (PT) dengan sistem organisasi line and staff, yang dipimpin oleh seorang direktur utama dengan jumlah karyawan 154 orang. Pabrik pembuatan 1,4-Cyclohexanedimethanol ini layak didirikan karena telah memenuhi persyaratan parameter ekonomi sebagai berikut:  Total Capital Investment = US$ 42.768.672,869  Selling Price per Year = US$ 118.066.609,845  Total Production Cost = US$ 89.007.531,572  Annual Cash Flow = US $ 23.454.914,176  Pay Out time = 2,044 tahun  Rate of return on investment = 47,561%  Discounted Cash Flow –ROR = 68,329%  Break Even Point = 33,993 %  Service Life = 11 tahun Kata Kunci : 1,4-Cyclohexanedimethanol, Hidrogenasi, Trickle Bed Reactor
