Abstract

This study aims to analyze the current inventory accounting information system at PT. Bersama Bersaudara, identify the factors needed for development and provide proposed development concepts of inventory accounting information system at that company. This research is a qualitative descriptive study by observing conditions and conducting interviews with related parties. Furthermore, the data obtained were analyzed using the SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) approach in developing the system. The data used in this study consisted of primary data and secondary data. Primary data obtained through direct interviews with related parties and secondary data obtained indirectly relating to research through intermediaries, such as organizational structure, vision, and mission of the company. The results of this study indicate that the current inventory accounting information system at PT. Bersama Bersaudara is still not good, when almost entire process in the current system is done manually, it is not effective and efficient which can make the information they provide is less reliable, so it is necessary to develop the current inventory accounting information system of PT. Bersama Bersaudara.
