Abstract

Persepsi Mengenai Manfaat Sosial Ekonomi Dan Tingkat Kesejahteraan Anggota Unit Pengolahan dan Pemasaran Bokar Medang Jaya Di Desa Sri Kembang III Kecamatan Payaraman Kabupaten Ogan Ilir Perception Of Social And Economic Benefits And Welfare Of Medang Jaya Rubber Processing And Marketing Unit Members In Sri Kembang Iii Village Payaraman Subdistrict Ogan Ilir Bella Fracucilia1, Laila Husin2, Dessy Adriani3 Program Studi Agribisnis, Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Sriwijaya Jalan Raya Palembang-Prabumulih Km 32 Indralaya Ogan Ilir 30662 Abstract The purpose of this research weare to: 1) identify the social and economic benefits of Medang Jaya Rubber Processing and Marketing Unit Members in Sri Kembang III Village Payaraman Subdistrict Ogan Ilir, 2) measuring the welfare level of Medang Jaya Rubber Processing and Marketing Unit Members in Sri Kembang III Village Payaraman Subdistrict Ogan Ilir, 3) analyze the correlation between social economic benefits and welfare level Medang Jaya Rubber Processing and Marketing Unit Members in Sri Kembang III Village Payaraman Subdistrict Ogan Ilir. This research was conducted at the in Sri Kembang III Village Payaraman Subdistrict Ogan Ilir. The research location was chosen purposively with the consideration Sri Kembang III Village is one of the rubber plantation area and there is Medang Jaya Processing and Marketing Unit, and many rubber farmers join to be its members. The method used in this research was survey method. The sampling method used in this research was quota sampling method (non probability sampling) with total sample were 30 farmers of 529 Medang Jaya Rubber Processing and Marketing Unit Members. The results showed that social benefits in the form of social capital and economic benefits were received based on the perception of Medang Jaya Rubber Processing and Marketing Unit Members in Sri Kembang III Village Payaraman Subdistrict Ogan ilir in the criteria of helping. A useful criterion for this economic benefit is that members farmers' prices and incomes have increased by 11 and 8 percent. Based on the Central Bureau of Statistics welfare level parameters, Medang Jaya Rubber Processing and Marketing Unit Members was in the welfare condition. This was supported by the amount of rubber farmers' income of 8 percent from Rp15,200,883 to Rp17,559,897 per hectare per year. This showeds that, as income rises, the welfare of farmers also increases. There was a significant relationship between the socio-economic benefits received by the level of welfare of Medang Jaya Rubber Processing and Marketing Unit Members in Sri Kembang III Village Payaraman Subdistrict Ogan Ilir with the of correlation moderate and positive criteria.
