Abstract

The Buah River's Watershed is one of 21 sub-watersheds (TRW) in Palembang City, South Sumatra which has a main river. It is Musi River. Palembang City has 25 points of roads and 43 points of flood-prone areas, one of them is the Buah TRW. The cause of flooding in the Buah TRW is because the conversion of green open field into a residential area will affect to the ability of water infiltration by the soil. To find out the relationship between discharge and time in the watershed, it was used hydrographic as method calculations. There were two methods in getting the hydrograph value in a watershed. They are Hidrograf Satuan Terukur (HST) and Hidrograf Satuan Sintetik- (HSS) SCS, Gama I and Nakayasu. From the calculation of Using the data characteristics of the Buah Watershed, the results obtained from the HSS SCS-CN method have a discharge (Qp) of 4,852 m³/s at 0,52 Hours, HSS Gama I has a discharge (Qp) of 1,117 m³/s, at 1,658 Hours, Nakayasu HSS has a peak discharge (Qp) of 1,60 m³/s at 1,287 Hours. While the results of the Calculated Unit Hydrograph calculation by using primary data with 3 rainfall events obtained discharge of 〖Qp〗_1 = 0,95 m³/s at 4 hours, 〖Qp〗_2= 1,31 m³/s at 2 hours and 〖Qp〗_3 = 1,496 m³ /s at 2 hours. From the analysis of Synthetic Unit Hydrograph and Measured Unit Hydrograph based on parameter Qp, Tp ann Tb, the closest to measured hydrograph unit is HSS Gama I with Qp = 1.60 m³/s, Tp = 1,287 Hour and base time (Tb) = 25 hour.
