Abstract

The increasing issue of global warming is caused by 33% CO2 emissions, 17% clean water consumption and 30% - 40% energy use and 40% - 50% raw materials in building operations. One of the efforts to reduce the occurrence of this issue can be implemented with one of the green building certification criteria, namely water conservation and efficiency. According to Yudo, water conservation is a very important effort to avoid water scarcity. In addition, water conservation is an effort to use water efficiently. So that research will be carried out to analyze the application of conservation and water efficiency in the law tower. Data collection methods used in this study are through interviews, observations, measurements and some supporting data used. The data obtained will be analyzed for water conservation with the Greenship existing building standards and the level of water efficiency using a system of excellence in design for greater efficiency (EDGE). Based on the results of the analysis carried out on the law tower, it was found that the application of water conservation with the Greenship existing building standard only got 11 points from a maximum total of 20 points. In addition, the application of water efficiency based on the EDGE system obtained 24.28% water saving measures. From the analysis, it is found that the legal tower has not met the criteria for water conservation well but has met the level of water use efficiency based on the Indonesian green building certification.
