Abstract

Data in image form becomes one of the most vulnerable data to tap into. Therefore, usually encryptions are used to protect information from such images before transmissions are made. Digital medical image becomes an example of image data that must be protected because it stores vital patient information. The final call has been given on the process of encrypting the medical digital image through an ECC algorithm, so it is hoped that the digital image of the medical has been secured through confidential information leakage. The purpose of this research is to prove the safety of the ECC algorithm's cryptosystem curve to the cryptanalyst. Thus conducted a test, the result was an encrypted image in the form of a blurred image that was very different from the initial image. Tests also show that the ECC algorithm is safe to use on encryption-decryption medical image. This can be proved by result of an encryption image resistant to cryptography based on analysis of quality images. Where a comparison is made between a histogram of encryption image and a histogram of its original image.
