Abstract

In this Final Project, the writer discusses the problem entitled "IOT Cigarette Smoke Detection System". The Faculty of Computer Science is an educational institution that aims to teach students to be disciplined. Students are required to obey the rules set in the faculty. One of the rules is smoking is prohibited in the lecture area. To overcome this problem, a tool was created that can help security officers use Internet of Things (IOT) technology. The purpose of this report is to make a smoke detector. This tool uses the MQ-2 sensor as a detector of cigarette smoke if the sensor detects cigarette smoke then Nodemcu esp8266 sends a message to the telegram. Nodemcu8266 As a microcontroller whose job as an input or output controller is equipped with wifi. When the bell issues a warning in the form of sound, the exhaust fan will turn on automatically if there is smoke controlled by the relay module. and LCD to display the customer's ADC value and then display it on the I2C LCD.
