Abstract

The aim of this research was to know the growth and yield of the Trisula variety shallots by using media mixed with sludge of water treatment and enriched with local microorganism from maja fruit. The research was conducted in the experiment station, conducted from January to Maret 2020. Research unit were arranged in factorial randomized block design. The treatment were media mix with sludge of water treatment consisting of L0 (100% Soil : 0% Sludge), L20 (80% Soil : 20% Sludge), and L40 (60% Soil : 40% Sludge). Other treatment was local organism fertilizer consisting of M0 (control), M25 (25 ml/polybag), and M50 (50 ml/polybag). Results indicating that combination of the two treatments was not significanly affecting growth and yield of the shallot. Individually the two treatments didn´t affect significanly shallot growth and yield of the shallot either. However media with sludge L0 (100% Soil : 0% Sludge) gave highest results on plants height, bulbs dry weight, L20 (80% Soil : 20% Sludge) gave best result on dry weight of the leaf, fresh weight leaf, and L40 (60% Soil : 40% Sludge) gave best result on number of leaves, leaf fresh weight, number of bulbs, bulbs fresh weight, diameter of the bulbs, and root dry weight. Local microorganism fertilizer M25 (25 ml/polybag) gave best result on leaf dry weight, root fresh weight, root dry weight, M50 (50 ml/polybag) gave best result on plant height, number of leaves, leaves fresh weight, number of bulbs, bulbs fresh weight, bulbs aim dry weight and diameter of bulbs.
