Abstract

Football is an outstanding sport ma and be a spectacle that can be enjoyed by everyone in the world today. The presence of a stadium as a forum for football activities should be supported by a decent facility in accordance with standards set by FIFA. According to the results of verification carried out by PT. Liga Indonesia Baru (LIB) in 2018 was judged that the PSMS stadium was not suitable for a league 1 match let alone to welcome PON 2024. The purpose of building this stadium is to make a stadium that has FIFA standards with stadium A type which has an audience capacity of 40,000 people, with an open classification of stadiums. This stadium will be a homebase for the Medan PSMS soccer team, with the presence of the stadium expected to host the 2024 PON, and to improve the quality of the PSMS soccer club. This stadium has a concept that was produced from the analysis. In the design of the stadium site, it has a metaphorical concept taken from the form of palm oil, this formation is the master plan of the North Sumatra Sport Center. For the architectural concept of this stadium, adjust the formation of the surrounding buildings that have been designed in the master plan, which is to elevate the culture of North Sumatra with its ornament. The stadium that was designed had the form of a concept approach from a metaphor derived from the formation of the Malay Deli cap climb by exposing the structure and utility. The stadium uses a structure that is intended for stadiums with rigid structures and upper structures in the form of space frames made of steel. The utility of this building can recycle dirty water to be reused so that it is more energy efficient and also the security system in the stadium is designed so that if there is a commotion or fire can be handled easily.
