Abstract

Dengue fever is an infectious disease that must receive priority treatment because it has the potential to cause death. It is known that there are 51 cases of dengue fever in the working area of Muntok Public Health Center and 2 of them died so that in 2018 the DBD morbidity rate is 101.4%. For this reason, evaluation is needed to see how the program is implemented. The purpose of this study is to evaluate a Mosquito Breeding Place Eradication Program at Muntok Public Health Center, West Bangka. This study used a qualitative method with the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) Evaluation Approach. The data collection technique used purposive sampling. The informants of this research were The Head of the Public Health Center, The Manager of the Dengue Program, The Manager of the Environmental Health Program, The Manager of the Survelians Program, The Head of the Prevention of Infectious Disease Transmission, Cadres of Larvae Monitoring Observers, and the community. For data validation, it used the triangulation method. Data and sources as well as this research would be presented in the form of a matrix and narrative. The result of this research in the form of Context showed that the social environment was the people who were in the working area of the Muntok Public Health Center. The purpose of the Mosquito Breeding Place Eradication Program was in accordance with the Ministry of Health's technical guidelines. The target of this program was the community. The Input from officers involved in the Mosquito Breeding Place Eradication Program was sufficient to run it, the budget used was from the Regional Expenditure Revenue Budget and Health Operational Assistance. The existing budget was not yet specific for this program. The facilities and infrastructure used were sufficient, but did not yet have standard operating procedures. The Process of Flick Monitors cadre was formed by the RT / RW, health counseling was done by Public Health Center staff, the eradication of larvae was constrained by public awareness. Meanwhile, The Products in the form of the coverage of houses inspected have not met the target with the provisions of the Ministry of Health. It is hoped that Muntok Public Health Center will further improve coordination, participation and empowerment of the community so that the program is optimal.
