Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan membandingkan metode analisis ion logam tembaga (II) secara potensiometri dan spektrofotometri visible. Metode potensiometri dan spektrofotometri visible divalidasi dengan parameter linieritas, sensitivitas, limit deteksi, akurasi, presisi, dan estimasi ketidakpastian pengukuran. Metode analisis ion logam tembaga (II) secara potensiometri berdasarkan sel konsentrasi sedangkan analisis ion logam tembaga (II) secara spektrofotometri visible dilakukan dengan menggunakan pengompleks Na-dietiditiokarbamat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan persamaan regresi linier analisis ion logam tembaga (II) secara potensiometri y = 29,505x + 44,3852 sedangkan secara spektrofotometri visible y = 0,1479x - 0,0045 dengan nilai R2 masing-masing sebesar 0,9999 dan 0,09992; sensitivitas 0,313 mg/L dan 0,1479 mg/L; limit deteksi 0,03 mg/L dan 0,03 mg/L; limit kuantisasi 0,03 mg/L dan 0,03 mg/L; presisi 0,05 % dan 0,06 %; akurasi 95,18 % dan 93,53 %; dan estimasi ketidakpastian pengukuran 0,06 mg/L dan 0,08 mg/L. Berdasarkan nilai-nilai validasi metode tersebut ditunjukkan bahwa metode potensiometri lebih baik dalam menganalisis ion logam tembaga (II). Kadar ion logam tembaga (II) dalam sampel air lindi secara potensiometri sebesar 6,19 mg/L sedangkan secara spektrofotometri visible sebesar 6,10 mg/L. Hasil analisis ion logam tembaga (II) kedua metode tersebut tidak berbeda secara signifikan secara statistika yang ditunjukkan dengan nilai thitung = 2,15 lebih kecil dibandingkan nilai ttabel = 2,31.
